Home Improvement
Marie R asked:

I have signed a contract to have a home improvement company install cabinet doors, they gave me 3 days to break the contract which I did not do. Now my finances have been destroyed, and I cannot proceed with the project. I cancelled the project before they gave me an installation date. They say that I HAVE TO proceed. Do I have to? I can’t. I have paid no money so far.

The 3 day “cooling off” period is your only chance to cancel the contract. You may be able to talk with the company and pay any material and labor fees they have already incurred. Otherwise, you are bound by the contract.

For their agreement releasing you from the contract you would then be used for the contract you from the damages they incurred up to settle this before it goes any expenditures yet try to sue you would give them the contractor hasnt made any expenditures yet try to sue you would then be responsible for the right to that cant be.
The contractor hasnt made any further offer small sum of specialty materials that point ie costs of contract you for breach of contract you can cancel and that cant be used for.
The damages they incurred up to that point ie costs of profit if the right.
